God’s Big Promises: Easter for Little Ones is perfect for introducing the youngest of children to Jesus’ death and resurrection.
This hard-cover board book will take a beating and last for years as you read the easy-to-understand text and look at the colorful, bright pictures by Jennifer Davison.
Jesus’ death is introduced in an easy manner and is quickly reversed on the next page with His wonderful resurrection and re-encounters with His followers and disciples.
I would highly recommend this book to any family with preschool children, two-three year old Sunday school classrooms, children church classrooms as well as any church nursery.
It’s never too early to introduce God’s love to your child and teach them that Jesus died and rose again so they can live eternally with Him.
My wife and I are now of 'mature' age and we were very impressed with the two Easter books, especially as they were for young ones (aged 2 and 4). Content super, interaction very possible. Their parents were thankful that that content was so useful for 'discussion'.
I received God’s Big Promises Easter Board Book compliments of The Good Book Company in exchange for my honest review.
God’s Big Promises Easter Board Book is a simple retelling of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. This version is adapted from the God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook by Carl Laferton. This book is a board book that is great for toddlers and would be a fun addition to an Easter basket for a little one.
The illustrations are rich and engaging and each page contains 1-2 sentences that help young readers understand the good news of the gospel. I’m enjoying reading this book with my son who is almost two and we can’t wait to read more in this series!
Beautifully illustrated, easy to understand and engaging. Hard cover board book perfect for toddlers. Couldn’t recommend it enough
I was quick to pick this up after buying the God's Big Promise storybook Bible for my big kids. We have a toddler who loves to destroy books, so I knew we would need something more sturdy if we wanted to have him participate in our Easter Study. This book was a perfect fit. The text is simple, the material is unbreakable, and the illustrations are appropriate (something I always am wary of when looking for Easter resources). This is a good gift for toddlers.
This delightful board book by Carl Laferton is perfect to share the Easter story with your children! It uses Jennifer Davison’s illustrations from God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook - a book that I read with my children every night.
Encounter Jesus
I found this book to be a great way to showcase this story and how it stands out from all the others in the Bible. With vibrant art and simple sentences, this book will engage your children to help them encounter Jesus in the Easter story.

With stunning illustrations, this Easter board book is perfect for ages 0-3 filled with simple language to introduce your little one to the events of Easter. It's adapted from the storybook bible "God's Big Promises."
If you are looking for a gift for little hands this Easter, this board book would be perfect.
Please note it does not address the details of the cross as this board book is meant for very little ones. Although there is much more depth in the Easter story and the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, this book hits important highlights and is a great resource for the tiniest of wee ones.
If you are looking for a gift to hand out to a Sunday School class or to put in an Easter basket to read during the Easter season, then this board book is a wonderful option! It is simple enough for early readers to read on their own.
With vibrant illustrations, God's Big Promises Easter Board Book is an easy-to-read introduction to the events of Easter weekend.

I picked this book because I wanted to show my 2 year old the meaning of Easter but didn't know how to explain it to someone this young. This book is perfect for my little one. It has engaging, large pictures but it also uses simple language for my kid to understand. I look forward to reading this to him in celebration of our Lord's death and resurrection.
This is a retelling of the Easter story (Palm Sunday, the last supper, Gethsemane, the cross, the empty tomb and Jesus appearing to friends after resurrection), written in short and simple text with engaging pictures. We own the Bible storybook from the same series and are enjoying it, and this sturdy little board book is perfect for our 1yo - it's faithfully told and the story length is perfect her age. Makes a wonderful Easter gift for babies and toddlers.
Since the story jumps very quickly from one scene to another, it may be helpful if a Note to Grown Ups/ a download freebie were included with Bible passages to look up, or a blurb that explains how the stories connect.
