“Great Resource for Teens”
Being a teen in today's world is hard - very hard. The things that have come from the growth of society have been great tools but also dangerous temptations. And despite the daily difficulties teens encounter, they are also still growing mentally and physically which adds another complication into the already overwhelming pot of issues. Thankfully, Morphew does a great job of introducing the Gospel, the power of Jesus, and our need for Him.
The structure of the book includes fourteen chapters, an appendix, and a discussion guide.
The practicality of the book is incredible. It's relatable, honest, raw and genuine. Morphew delivers biblical truth and explains how to live it out with faith and trust. He doesn't shy away from the fact that it can be hard to remain faithful to these truths, but that it's worth it and God provides us the strength needed.
The appendix dives into questions about how we know the Gospel of Jesus is actually true. Sample questions: Did Jesus really exist? Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Although these questions can require more digging into, this section provides at least a basic apologetics answer.
The Discussion Guide is also beneficial if reading through as a group or with a parent. With reflection questions and challenges, it will allow teens to dig a bit deeper into each chapters concept.
A great option for teens on living life for Jesus even in the midst of hardship.
